Mexico Lindo is a great place to go over a lunch break seeing as how they are super quick and cheap! The food is really good and the prices can't be beat. They have lunch specials starting as low as $4.99! For the good quality and clean atmosphere, these prices seem crazy low. The queso is white and creamy and really hits the spot with the always piping hot chips. The salsa is good as well, even though it's not the best in town. I had one of the lunch specials with a cripsy beef taco and beef enchilada, served with rice and beans. It was so good and very filling! I took half of it home for leftovers seeing as the portions are so generous. I would definitely recommend Mexico Lindo to anyone looking for some fast, cheap, good Tex-Mex.

Favorite place to go for cheap margaritas and authentic Mexican food. Lunch specials start at like $3.50 and are plenty to fill you up! Cheap, Good and Yummy and the service is pretty good too!

I always remember seeing this place out of the corner of my eye when I am driving down 71st, but never stopped by since it seemed like a random location to have a Mexican place. One thing I have learned being in Tulsa is that looks are deceiving! I have been to so many places that seem to not be that good, but when I give it a try become one of the best places I have eaten at. This place would be a good example of that! It is located next to Fox and Hound so you can always go there before or after. Stopping by this place it looked like any other standard Mexican place, but the thing that makes it great is that you can ask for certain things you want and they will make it for you. For example, we love margaritas! But we are very particular on how they are made. We ALWAYS order a margarita on the rocks with a shot of strawberry flavor on the side, sugar on the rim, and a corona with it. This place is the only place that has gotten it right the first time! The food here is also very good, I mean it is pretty basic like anywhere else, but the prices for what you are getting make it great. I am very guilty of wanting to find a Mexican place similar to the ones I went to in college and this place is it! If you love Mexican and margaritas give it a try! They also have a patio and pitchers of margaritas. Those two things always make a good time!

This restaurant is located at 71st and Garnett next to Fox 'n Hound. This is our go-to Mex-Mex restaurant. If you like spinach quesadillas these are the bomb...loaded with fresh spinach. I really like the marinated pork Carnitas served with fresh limes for drizzling on the meat, Yum! Real Mexicans eat there...If you are expecting Tex-Mex move on to somewhere else.

I was looking for non-chain Mexican in Broken Arrow and after reading Yelp reviews, I found a good one! The food is very good and they have a vegetarian menu. I had the spinach quesadilla, excellent. Stuffed with a ton of perfectly seasoned spinach - and not the frozen stuff. Guacamole is very good, and the salsa is perfect. Very good find in an unlikely place. Great job! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

My family loves this place! The food is excellent and the prices are the most reasonable anywhere! Service is exceptional. If you like authentic Mexican food this place is a must! The lunch menu is the cheapest in Tulsa and there is a wide variety.

After reading the great reviews and being in the area for work I thought I would give it a try. I was amazed at the variety of selections and over the fresh salsa and chips (a bit overcooked and dry) I finally chose the Carmita's platter. At $8.99 including rice, beans, some guacamole, and tortillas I was amazed when dinner arrived. The pork was amazingly tender and well seasoned. The rice and beans were well flavored as if made in a home kitchen. I have recently experienced what real Mexican food should taste like ( not the Tex-Mex many expect and want ), I would take any of my friends or family here for a great meal.

We love Mexico Lindo. The staff is friendly. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. We eat there so often they say, "See you tomorrow!" when we leave. The menu has a large variety to please many tastes. I highly recommend them.

My sister and I were craving Mexican food one Saturday evening and happen to be at Plato's Closet shopping and noticed Mexico Lindo which is located in the same strip mall. So we popped over. The decor is a bit on the campy side, hacienda/garden adorn with fake plants and christmas lights. The margarita's I have to say were the highlight of the meal at 3.00 they were very strong, so for those who are lightweights tread carefully! Im Irish so I had two! Food wise my sister ordered the Chile Rellano platter which she described as slightly crunchy, which is not soppose to happen in this dish. I ordered the Chicken and Rice soup which was just ok. The soup was really greasy and had way to much rice. All and all the queso was decent, the drinks were pretty stellar if you like them strong and the service was quick. If you happen to be a frequent shopper at Plato's like myself I suggest this for a quick light lunch.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
